What We Believe

Mission Statement: 

The mission of Renewed  is to reach women who do not know Jesus Christ as their Savior as well as provide opportunities for growth in knowledge and spiritual maturity for women who already know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Statement of Faith: 

-We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all according to the purpose of His will.

- We believe that God the Father is the personal, transcendent, and sovereign creator of all things. We believe that God the Father concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of humanity; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ.

- We Believe in Jesus Christ— God's only begotten Son, the promised Messiah, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human and has always existed -- without beginning or end. We believe in His sinless life, miracles, teachings, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and His perpetual intercession for His people and that He provided for the atonement of our sins by His death on the cross.

- We believe in the Holy Spirit—who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment; and to sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ for ministry. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all the biblical gifts of the Holy Spirit, to be employed within scriptural guidelines.

- We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, as originally given, are the fully inspired Word of God. The Holy scriptures are the divinely authoritative guide for our faith, belief, and manner of living. The Bible is the foundation upon which Renewed operates and is the basis for which Renewed is governed.

- We believe mankind was originally created, male and female, in the image and likeness of God: mankind fell through disobedience, causing both physical and spiritual death. Now all mankind is born with a sinful nature, is separated from God, and saved only through the atoning work of Jesus Christ. We believe that when a person repents of sin and receives Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit. All his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God, destined to spend eternity with the Lord.

- We believe the Church includes all born again believers and has no boundaries as to age, race, gender, or denomination. Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church, which has been commissioned by Him to go into the entire world as a witness, preaching the gospel to all.
